In Great Falls, you'll be connected to major national and international markets via Great Falls International Airport, which is served by Allegiant, Delta, Horizon, Northwest and United Airlines. There are daily departures to Las Vegas, Denver, Minneapolis, Salt Lake City, Seattle and Helena. More than 149,000 people used Great Falls International Airport in 2007.

Highways & Roads

There are more public road miles (70,000) in Montana than Interstate Highway miles in the entire U.S. Great Falls is located on Interstate 15--a major CANAMEX Highway that runs from Alberta, Canada to Mexico. Great Falls is also located very close to the major east-west shipping route, Interstate 90.

Railroad

Montana's rail system includes approximately 3,500 miles of track and is served by two major rail companies-Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) and Union Pacific. BNSF is the second largest railroad in the U.S. and has over 2,100 miles of tracks in Montana. BNSF transports over 1.5 million carloads annually across the state and is investing over $50 million in 2006 to enhance the services to Montana Businesses.
