Environmental Professional Pool
Qualified Environmental Professional
Great Falls Development Authority (GFDA) is seeking Qualified Environmental Professionals (QEP) to update our pool of professionals who will be available to assist with Brownfields projects within Cascade County. Duties may include reviewing cleanup activities to be completed under the GFDA Brownfields Revolving Loan Fund (GFBCRLF) program, public outreach, and/or serving as liaison between GFDA and other regulatory agencies such as the City of Great Falls, Cascade County Health Department, the Montana Department of Environmental Quality and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. GFDA will select QEPs from the pool on an ongoing basis and assign the QEPs to specific Brownfields projects as needed. Being placed in the QEP pool does not guarantee selection by GFDA for a project or task. GFDA will select a QEP for a project based on the specific project, QEP’s Brownfield experience, experience with EPA RLFs, experience with developers and experience working with EPA Brownfield coordinators. Depending on the complexity of the project, the position will require between 5 and 50 hours per project. Fees will be negotiated. QEPs may also serve in an advisory role to the GFDA Loan Review Board. Women and minorities are encouraged to apply. Please submit qualifications to Lillian Sunwall, Project Manager, 300 Central Ave, Ste 406, P.O. Box 949, Great Falls, MT 59403. Call 406-771-9024 for further information. Submittal deadline is March 8, 2010.
